Remote Measure Settings[edit]

When the option "Use Remote Measure Settings" is enabled it means that the device driver will remote control the device and will send the commands corresponding to the settings the end-user has set in this window. If this check box is disabled, the device drive will not send these settings. It will also prevent the reset command from being send during the device driver initialization, which gives the end-user the possibility to manually configure some additional setting at the equipment and that this manually configuration will not be completely 'lost' at the start of each test.

Configuration[edit]

It is possible for each separate channel to perform a Frequency measurement, or no measurement at all. For additional information about the sampling mode we refer to the manual of the device. It is possible to use an external Trigger source, to trigger a measurement. When choosing this method without having a proper setup and having an external source and signal applied to the equipment, this can lead to issues like for instance timeouts. For more information regarding external triggering please see the manufactures manuals.

Remark: when enabling to measure one or more channels of this device, do not forget that also the corresponding AD-Channels at the EUT has to be enabled to enable and retrieve the measurement data.
