Required Windows drivers[edit]
Controlling the Hameg by USB requires installation of a specific windows driver provided by Rohde & Schwarz.
Windows 11 support[edit]
The USB driver provided by R&S are not supported on Microsoft Windows 11 and newer, as an alternative the driver can be controlled using the RS232 communication method.
Conection methods[edit]

The Hameg signal generator can be controlled by RadiMation by USB connection.
Note the following when setting up to control the Hameg by USB:
The device comes available as a separate 'HAMEG Measurement Devices' category in the Windows Device manager. It is necessary to enable the 'Load VCP' option of the driver in the Windows Device manager. Then reconnect the USB again, and load the additional USB drivers.

Baudrate: 4800
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
