Hameg HM8134-3

The Hameg HM8134-3 device driver is a Signal Generator which is supported by RadiMation^®.

Connection methods

USB

The Hameg signal generator can be controlled by RadiMation^® by USB connection. This does require the installation of a specific windows driver provided by Rohde & Schwarz.

Note the following when setting up to control the Hameg HM8134-3 by USB:

The device comes available as a separate 'HAMEG Measurement Devices' category in the Windows Device manager. It is necessary to enable the 'Load VCP' option of the driver in the Windows Device manager. Then reconnect the USB again, and load the additional USB drivers.

Windows 11 support

The Windows USB driver provided by Rohde & Schwarz are not supported on Microsoft Windows 11 and newer. As an alternative the driver can be controlled using the hardware RS232 communication port of the Hameg HM8134-3.

Baudrate: 4800

Data bits: 8

Parity: None

Stop bits: 1
