A time out occurred while waiting for the measurement result

A time out occurred while waiting on a power measurement result of the U2004A. Depending on some specific settings, it can take longer than expected to perform a single power measurement. The single measurement is then taking more time than the time out, which causes this error.

Solution

Improve the measurement settings of the power meter in such a way that the measurement is faster.

• The measurement speed is related to the selected filter type. Use a lower filter setting to increase the measurement speed. The filter settings can be found in the advanced settings of the device driver under the Settings-tab. For more details see the driver configuration of the Agilent Technologies U2000A
• Increase the hidden MaxWaitTimeInSeconds property found in the 'Advanced' settings of the device driver. This hidden setting can be accessed by pressing "shift+ Left Click" on the Advanced button of the device driver configuration. The hidden setting is found under the "[U2004A]" section
