A switch matrix is a piece of equipment that is used during EMC measurements. It's primary purpose is to switch one or more (coax) relays into the correct state. However the switch matrix device drivers can also be used to control other parts of the equipment setup. For example, it is also possible to forward specific information to other software programs or devices. For example it is also possible to use a Video text generator to generate a video overlay on video monitoring systems.
Switch matrixes can be used in all tests.
A complete list of all supported switch matrixes by RadiMation is available on this RadiWiki site.
