Is RadiMation on Microsoft Windows® 7® supported?
Currently RadiMation is NOT yet officially supporting the Microsoft Windows 7® operating system.
The reason this that some libraries used by RadiMation® are not supported in Windows 7.
Goal of this document
This page is created to document the know problems with running RadiMation® on Windows 7 and give solutions where possible.
Versions used
To investigate the Windows 7 professional 32 bits was used in combination with RadiMation® 5.6.8.
Installation
Radimation is installed with admin rights, by rights click and then run with administrator rights. Installation did not fire any items.
Issues
- Running RadiMation® from the desktop icon is just giving the message "unexpected error; quitting"
- Running Radimat-main, gives: unexpected error; quitting
- running Radimat.exe under admin account, RadiMation® is not running.
- running Radimat-main.exe under admin account:
- Darestd2: automation error '440'
- radstdcl: run time error 339. component MSCOMCTL.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing
- The ocx is not available in the system32 dir.
