Device is not aligned. Please align device and restart the measurement.

The Agilent N90x0A Spectrum Analyser device driver is checking if the unit is correctly aligned before it is used during a measurement. It is however detected that the measurement device is currently not aligend. An alignment should be performed before it can be used for a measurement.

The N90x0A has to be aligned in certain situations, to ensure the performance and accuracy of the N90x0A. When the N90x0A thus indicates that it should be aligned, it is better for the performance and accuracy to perform that alignment. That is why our RadiMation® device driver for the N90x0A detects this situation and the informs the end-user that an alignment should be performed.

The alignment process can take some time, and there are several types of alignment possible. We therefor advise to the end-user that they perform the alignment manually, and it thus is NOT started automatically from our RadiMation® device driver. Once the alignment has been performed manually, the measurement can be restarted again.

Solution

  1. Start a new alignment on the N90x0A
  2. After the alignment has been performed, start the same measurement again in RadiMation®.
