AD-Converter[edit]

The VisionTRX AD converter can be used to retrieve data measured by the visionTRX software.
The driver is able to retrieve this data from the regions which are configured in the VisionTRX software by the user.
For more detailed information regarding the configuration of the VisionTRX software, please consult the VisionTRX manual.

Supported regions[edit]

The VisionTRX driver is able to retrieve the values from all available types of regions configurable in the VisionTRX software.

Operation[edit]

RadiMation is able to determine based on the configured upper limits, lower limits and the actual value of the region if it has detected a change.
A change is thus represented by a value which falls not within the expected range as configured by the user.

Displayed AD-channel value Represents
0 No change detected, measurement within expected range.
1 Change detected, measurement not within expected range.

OCR[edit]

The driver is able to determine if a OCR region has detected a numerical value. If this is true, the actual numerical value is displayed as the measurement value of the AD channel.
If the driver detects that the text value of the OCR region contains non-numerical values, the region is processed as a normal region.
An OCR region being processed as a normal region means that it checks if the text matches the text configured in the VisionTRX software.
Doing so the displayed results shall be:

Displayed OCR AD-channel value Represents
0 Detected text does not match configured text.
1 Detected text matched configured text.

Channel order[edit]

The order in which the configured regions are shown in the VisionTRX software, is the same order as in which the AD-channels should be configured in RadiMation. This means if a region is set on the 4th place as seen in the VisionTRX, RadiMation must acces the values for that channel by operating on AD-channel 4. If this is not kept in sync, measurements shall not be seen on the expected channels or will not be accesible by RadiMation.

Communication[edit]

The VisionTRX driver communicates using VISA LAN.
The following VISA resource identifier can be used: "TCPIP0::127.0.0.1::inst0::INSTR".

Supported version[edit]

This driver has been verified using: VisionTRX 1.0.5.4
