Possible reasons for this error can be:
Possible reasons for this error include:
* The GPIB device is not available on the specified GPIB address. Check the selected GPIB address in the device driver configuration
* Incorrect GPIB address configuration: Verify that the GPIB address specified in the device driver configuration matches the actual GPIB address of the device you are trying to communicate with.
* There are multiple devices using the same GPIB address. Check if you have configured the same GPIB address for another device. If this is the case make sure they have a unique GPIB number. Beware, some devices are multi devices (Eg. RadiCentre)To address these devices you do need to use the same address multiple times. Please see the manual of a device if you want to know if you are not sure

Not all bytes are written to the GPIB-Board within the timeout period (GPIB:EABO)[edit]

During a write operation to a GPIB device, not all the data could be written to the GPIB device.

Solution[edit]

Possible reasons for this error include:

  • Incorrect GPIB address configuration: Verify that the GPIB address specified in the device driver configuration matches the actual GPIB address of the device you are trying to communicate with.
  • Multiple devices using the same GPIB address: Check if you have configured the same GPIB address for another device. If this is the case, make sure each device has a unique GPIB number. Note that some devices, such as the RadiCentre, require the same address to be used multiple times to address multiple devices. Check the manual of your device if you are unsure.
  • Sudden power off of the GPIB device: Ensure that the GPIB device is powered on and connected to the GPIB bus.
  • Communication errors: The GPIB device may have detected an error and is not communicating correctly on the GPIB bus.

If the problem persists after checking the above options, further investigation by Raditeq may be necessary to determine the root cause of the issue.
