The EUT Calibration and the System Calibration are not using the same method (signal generator or network analyzer method).

When an antenna scan calibration is performed, this can be performed with the 'signal generator method' or the 'network analyzer method'.

• Signal generator method: will control the signal generator to regulate the forward power to the desired power level, and measure with the spectrum analyzer on the receiving antenna.
• Network analyzer method: will only use the network analyzer to generate a power level on one port, and measure the received signal on the receiving antenna with the other port.

If a network analyzer is present in the selected testsite the 'Network analyzer method' will be used, otherwise the 'Signal generator method' will be used.

This error indicates that the Calibration file of the antenna scan system calibration is using another method then will be used in the started antenna scan EUT calibration.

Solution

• Ensure that the antenna scan system calibration and the antenna scan EUT calibration are both using the same method. Both should be using the 'signal generator method' or both should be using the 'Network analyzer method'.
