The Configurable equipment device driver is a Auxiliary Equipment which is supported by RadiMation®.

Configuration

Auxiliary equipment cannot be configured. Only information such as Brand, Description, Serial Number, etc., can be changed.

This device driver is a generic driver and must be renamed to reflect the actual device present in the test setup.

Configurable auxiliary equipment is used when an auxiliary device supports basic remote-control functionality: for example, a simple routing mechanism, or any device that can switch between predefined states. Unlike passive auxiliary items, these devices accept commands, and the driver provides the same configurable command interface used in other configurable device types. This allows RadiMation® to send initialization, operation, and shutdown commands to the equipment, similar to the behaviour of a Configurable Switch Matrix.
