The RTCA DO-160G is also known as ISO 7137. It is also the same as EUROCAE ED-14G.

RTCA DO-357 is the userguide that provides additional explanations regarding the contents of DO-160G.

The DO-160 revision G is released at December 8, 2010. It consists of several sections, numbered from 4.0 to 26.0.

RadiMation® also does support the 1 Hz on/off modulation. The 'Software Pulse modulation' setting can be used for such low frequency pulse modulations.

Section 18

Title of section 18: Audio Frequency Conducted Susceptibility

  • Chapter 18.0: Audio Frequency Conducted Susceptibility - Power Inputs.

Testing in accordance with Section 18 can be performed by using RadiMation®.

Section 19

Title of section 19: Induced Signal Susceptibility

  • Chapter 19.0: Induced Signal Susceptibility.

Several test procedures are described in Section 19. Of those tests, the following can be performed by using RadiMation® in accordance with Section 19:

  • Magnetic fields induced into the equipment
  • Magnetic fields induced into interconnecting cables
  • Electric fields induced into interconnecting cables

Section 19 also contains a test procedure which cannot be performed by RadiMation® yet:

  • Spikes induced into interconnecting cables

Section 20

Title of section 20: Radio Frequency Susceptibility

  • Conducted Susceptibility is similar to MIL-STD CS114
  • Radiated Susceptibility is similar to MIL-STD RS103

Testing in accordance with Section 20 can be performed by using RadiMation®. However the reverberation chamber procedure as described in chapter 20.6 is not yet fully supported by RadiMation®.

Section 21

Title of section 21: Emission of Radio Frequency Energy

  • Chapter 21.4: Conducted RF emissions
  • Chapter 21.5: Radiated RF emissions

Testing in accordance with Section 21 can be performed by using RadiMation®. However the reverberation chamber procedure as described in chapter 21.6 is not yet fully supported by RadiMation®.

Other sections

The following sections are also EMC related, but have not yet been evaluated

  • Section 15.0 - Magnetic effect
  • Section 16.0 - Power input
  • Section 17.0 - Voltage spike
  • Section 22.0 - Lightning induced Transient susceptibility
  • Section 23.0 - Lightning Direct effects
  • Section 25.0 - Electrostatic discharge
