The 'Calibration Method' should be 'signal generator level'

When an antenna scan calibration is performed, this can be performed with the 'signal generator method' or the 'network analyzer method'.

  • Signal generator method: will control the signal generator to regulate the forward power to the desired power level, and measure with the spectrum analyzer on the receiving antenna.
  • Network analyzer method: will only use the network analyzer to generate a power level on one port, and measure the received signal on the receiving antenna with the other port.

If a network analyzer is present in the selected testsite the 'Network analyzer method' will be used, otherwise the 'Signal generator method' will be used.

This error indicates that the selected 'Calibration method' in the TSF is set to something else than the 'Signal generator level' selection, in combination with the 'Network analyzer method'. When the 'Network analyzer method' is used, it is only allowed to use the 'Signal generator level' 'Calibration method'.

Solution

  • Select the 'Signal generator level' 'Calibration method'
  • Use the 'Signal generator method'.
