National Instruments GPIB NI-488.2 library with a version below 15.0.0 is detected. Please update, as version 15.0.0 or higher of the National Instruments NI-488.2 library is required.
We have detected that NI-488.2 libraries before 15.0, can sometimes trigger a 'Hibernation' error, which causes that the GPIB card cannot be controlled anymore. It is therefor better to update the NI-488.2 library to a newer version, to prevent problems.
Solution
- Update your National Instruments NI-488.2 library software to the requested version or higher.
- Start the 'NI Update Service' program, and select the programs to be updated
- If the updater itself should be updated, first update the 'NI Update Service' program first, because otherwise the additional updates will not be shown.
