The calibration of the device caused a timeout: no confirmation could be retrieved within the maximum timeout
When the calibration setting of the device is enabled the driver will try to have the device perform a (short) calibration e.g. before the final measurement.
The first time the calibration is being activated this can take up to 90 seconds! This can cause (GPIB) timeouts, as the driver expects a confirmation after the calibration is finished. It is strongly advised to perform the first calibration of the day manually at the device itself. When it is not desirable that a calibration is performed please disable this function.
Solution
- Perform a manually calibration before remote controlling the device.
- Disable the calibration in the Advanced Device Driver settings.
