The Tektronix RSA DLL could not be loaded. Please make sure the DLL is correctly installed.

This device driver is using the Tektronix RSA API, to communicate with the Tektronix Analyzer. However the required DLL cannot be loaded, and thus no communication with the Tektronix Analyzer is possible.

The Tektronix DLL can be installed by starting the RSAAPI setup program. The driver has been created and tested with the 3.23.0022 version.

Please be aware that for on a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows, the 64-bit installers should be used. It is available from: https://www.tek.com/spectrum-analyzer/rsa513a-software/rsa-application-programming-interface-api-64-bit-windows

The installation path that is suggested should be used, as the RadiMation® device driver is also loading the Tektronix DLL from: C:\Tektronix\RSA_API\lib\x86\.

Solution

  • Ensure that the Tektronix DLL is correctly installed and available on the PC.
