National Instruments 488.2M library is too old for Windows 2000

During the initialisation of the National Instruments GPIB library, RadiMation^® detected that the installed version of the GPIB library is too old to be used on the Windows 2000 operating system. No GPIB control will be possible.

Solution

• Upgrade the installed version of the National Instruments 488.2M library to a newer and supported version.
• This error can happen when the Windows operating system of the PC is updated to a newer version. That sometimes triggers that an older version of the National Instruments software is activated again. Reinstalling a newer version of the National Instruments software will resolve the problem again.
