GPIB-Board is not controller in charge (CIC) GPIB: ECIC[edit]

A device driver is trying to control a GPIB device through a GPIB board which is not the controller in charge.

Solution[edit]

  • Is USB GPIB board used? And is it correctly connected to the PC?
  • Change the GPIB communication settings of the device driver to use the correct GPIB0 board.
  • Has the GPIB board in the PC be changed to for example GPIB1 or GPIB2?
  • Is the GPIB board in the PC correctly installed, for instance is the PCI card properly connected?
