GPIB-Board is not controller in charge (CIC) GPIB: ECIC

A device driver is trying to control a GPIB device through a GPIB board which is not the controller in charge.

Solution

Is USB GPIB board used? And is it correctly connected to the PC?
Change the GPIB communication settings of the device driver to use the correct GPIB0 board.
Has the GPIB board in the PC be changed to for example GPIB1 or GPIB2?
Is the GPIB board in the PC correctly installed, for instance is the PCI card properly connected?
