Tests.AntennaTowerHeight.Horizontal.Physical.Maximum

From RadiWiki
Jump to: navigation, search

This advanced option specifies the maximum height where the antenna can move to when the antenna is horizontally polarized. RadiMation® version 5.8 will question the antenna tower controller it's maximum physical allowed height. The retrieved maximum antenna tower controller height and the value of Tests.AntennaTowerHeight.Horizontal.Physical.Maximum will be used to determine the maximum height to which the antenna will be controlled, if it is horizontally polarized. The lowest of the two values is used.

The default value of Tests.AntennaTowerHeight.Horizontal.Physical.Maximum is set to 10 meter, which ensures that any antenna is not controlled above 10 meter. This default value is by purpose specified as a relatively large value to prevent unwanted limitations.

If (for any reason) a limitation of the antenna tower height is needed smaller than the maximum physical antenna height of the antenna tower controller itself, the value of Tests.AntennaTowerHeight.Horizontal.Physical.Maximum can be set to a value that is lower than the limitation in the antenna tower controller itself. If for example the value of Tests.AntennaTowerHeight.Horizontal.Physical.Maximum is set to 2, RadiMation® will never to move the antenna to a height above 2 meter.
