Does RadiMation support the linearity check that is described in the EN 61000-4-3 standard?
This page contains all the Frequently Asked Questions related the general usage of RadiMation
In RadiMation it is fairly easy to verify that the amplifier is used in its linear range (and thus not saturated).

The EN 61000-4-3 2006 version specifies that the calibrations in the Uniform Field Area should be performed on electrical field strength that is at least 1.8 times higher than the field strength that will be used during the substitution test. It is also required that it is ensured that the amplifier is used in a range in which it is not in saturation.
How can I overlap two graphs in multi band?
To be able to perform a substitution test on 10 V/m, it is thus necessary that the calibrations are performed on at least 18 V/m.
To overlap two graphs, open both the test results. In one of the two test results press the graphs button. you will see that the other test is available for selection. You can add any line from the other test result into the current graph.
The Uniform Field Area calculation can be performed as it is described in Chapter 12. After the the complete calculation has been performed, and a final calibration file has been created, it has to be ensured that the amplifier will not be used in saturation.

How can I reset the administrator password in RadiMation?
The password of the administrator cannot be cleared, it is however possible to remove the administrator account. If RadiMation is started without an Administrator account, RadiMation will automatically create a new Administrator account with the default RadiMation password.

The easiest way to confirm that the amplifier is not used in saturation, is:
Use the following steps to remove the Administrator account:
# Configure a Radiated Immunity substitution test with the calibration file that was the result of the Uniform Field Area calculation. Ensure that the substitution test is configured with the correct settings:
# Close RadiMation before continuing.
#* use the signal generator calibration method.
# In the RadiMation CONFDVDR folder (most often: C:\ProgramData\Raditeq\RadiMation\ConfDvdr\) the file SETTINGS.INI is present. Open this file, and search for the keyword [Engineers]. After this line, search for the engineer that is named Administrator. (for example: Engineer1=Administrator).
#* the forward power input should be activated, because the forward power should be measured.
# Remove all the lines that start with: Engineer<NR>, where the <NR> is the same number (in the example: 1) as the number of the engineer that was named Administrator.
#* level to an electrical field strength that is exactly 1.8 times lower than the field strength that was calibrated. This will result in a 5.1 dB lower signal generator power.
#Save the file and start RadiMation.
#* use the same frequency range and frequency steps, as was used during the calibration.
#* use the same testsite as was used during the calibration.
# Start the substitution test and wait until it is finished.
# Now the forward power that is used during the substitution test, and the forward power during the calibration should be compared. It is the most easiest to do this in Microsoft Excel. Start Microsoft Excel, and create an empty sheet.
# Open the calibration file that was the result of the Uniform Field Area calculation.
# Open the forward power graph, and copy the data (table) of the forward power to the clipboard.
# Paste the forward power of the calibration file into the Microsoft Excel worksheet (for example on cell A6)
# Open the results of the substitution test, open the forward power graph, and copy the data (table) of the forward power to the clipboard.
# Paste the forward power of the substitution test into the Microsoft Excel worksheet (for example on cell D6)
# Compare the data of the forward power of the calibration and the forward power during the substitution. The forward power of the substitution should be 5.1 dB lower then the forward power of the calibration file. The comparison is very easy, by inserting the formula '=B6-E6' in cell H6. The formula can then be copied down for all other frequencies.
# The EN 61000-4-3 standard assumes that the amplifier is not in saturation if the difference between the forward power values on all frequencies is within +3.1 dB to +5.1 dB.

An example Microsoft Excel file, can be downloaded , which can be used for the calculations.
What is the default RadiMation password for the Administrator?
The default password for the administrator is: Radimation

Another possibility to ensure that the amplifier is not used in saturation, is to limit the generated power of the amplifier to its 1 or 2 dB compression point. The amplifier limitation feature of RadiMation can be used to limit the generated power of the amplifier.
How can I turn off the login window?
Why are the Uniform Field Area calculations of expired standards not removed?
To turn off the log in window of RadiMation, select an engineer that has no password selected.
The calculation methods for the old standards (like EN 61000-4-3:1995) cannot be removed from RadiMation due to the following reasons:
# A number of product standards do mention basic standards and there year of issue, for the way of performing radiated immunity tests. As long as the product standards are not changed one should use the 'old' basic standard as well. Although many lab's do use the latest version of the basic standard for all product standards (while it is much more convenient to use only one version of the EN61000-4-3), when there is doubt about the test results, one should use the harmonized standard and it's associated basic standard as mentioned in the product standard.
# A number of customers simply require the old methods, for the reasons mentioned above, or while they want to be able to perform verification tests on old products

Is RadiMation using the correct method for the Uniform Field Area calibration?
Log in as Administrator:
The latest EN 61000-4-3 standard describes two methods to perform a "field homogeneity verification" (also called 'Uniform Field Area calculation') (the constant field method and constant power method). RadiMation supports the constant field method while this will result in the
# Go to Configuration --> Engineer
highest accuracy (With this procedure, the linearity error of the field probe is not influencing the calibration accuracy. While the linearity of a
# Select Administrator
power meter is much better than the linearity of a field probe, this method is, from an accuracy point of view, the better solution). Although RadiMation does not support both methods, this does not mean RadiMation can not be used for field homogeneity verification, because according to
# press Edit, a new window will appear.
the standard, both methods should result in the same calibration file.
# Press Change Password.
# Fill in the old password (default: Radimation)
# Do not fill in password and retype password.
# Close all windows with Ok.
# Select File --> Change Engineer
# Select Administrator
# Check automatically login with this engineer.
# Press Ok.
# restart RadiMation

Why is an immunity test trying to control a field sensor, if no field sensor is selected in the used testsite?
Log in as other user:
RadiMation does not automatically disable a setting in a TSF file, if certain equipment is not selected in the selected testsite.

It can be possible that measurements procedures require that a field sensor is used during an immunity measurement. The fieldsensor is then activated in the Fieldsensor Inputs window of the TSF file. If however, due to circumstances the fieldsensor is not available in a certain situation, it is unacceptable that RadiMation silently decides to not use the activated fieldsensor. The TSF that defines the exact measurement procedure should not be silently modified, because this can lead to unexpected results in future measurements. It is of course allowed that the test engineer modifies the TSF to disable the usage of the field sensor during a specific measurement, but in that case it is a thoughtful action by and the responsibility of the test engineer. RadiMation does not silently perform adjustments to the configuration in a TSF file.
The same sequence as the Administrator applies to the engineer. Make sure when you create a new engineer that the permissions are set correctly.

How does a G-TEM compare to an anechoic chamber?
What are the minimum PC requirements?
A G-TEM cell is in principle not an accepted (full compliant) EMC test environment and compared to an anechoic chamber the cables will be routed and placed differently.
The minimum PC requirements are described in Chapter 2 of the manual

Sometimes the error at higher frequencies becomes smaller through the band. This is what normally is expected in case of correlation measurements between a small G-TEM in relation to a large Anechoic chamber or OATS (due to near field effects smaller test rooms will have larger deviations at low frequencies).
Is Microsoft Windows XP supported?
Nowadays, Microsoft Windows 7 is the minimum requirement for RadiMation.
Due to the fact that Microsoft Windows XP is not supported anymore by Microsoft, we also cannot provide any support for Microsoft windows XP anymore. We have not verified/tested the RadiMation 2013.x versions and higher on Microsoft Windows XP, and we will not support this.
RadiMation is working correctly and supported on Windows 7 (32-bits and 64-bits) and Windows 8.1 (32-bits and 64-bits).

Beside this, one should realize that even full compliant radiated emission measurements still have relatively high measurement uncertainties. To give you some concrete figures:
Is Microsoft Windows 7 (64 bit) supported?
* The absolute accuracy for an OATS measurement (including all uncertainties of equipment, site attenuation and antenna factor) are about +/- 5 dB.
RadiMation is supported on Windows 7. RadiMation is working correctly on the 32-bit and on 64-bit version of Windows 7.
* For emission measurements in anechoic chambers this figure is about +/- 6 dB for a SAR and even +/- 10 to 20 dB for a FAR.
Also on Windows 8.1 (32-bits and 64-bits) RadiMation is fully working and supported. In order to run RadiMation it is absolutely required that the used operating system is up to date. It can cost severe delays during an installation in case Windows Updates are not completely updated and installed. For more detailed information see the Hardware and software requirements.
So one can imagine that you can expect even higher uncertainties in a (G)TEM cell

Generally when comparing two sites with each other it is important to make the correct calculations for both uncertainties (root sum of the squares). So if both sites have 5 dB uncertainty (which is not feasible with a TEM cell) the total expected difference will be maximum 7 dB. In other words a measured 10 dB difference is not even bad at all!
Is Microsoft Windows 10 supported?
RadiMation is tested and supported on Windows 10. In order to run RadiMation it is absolutely required that the used operating system is up to date. It can cost severe delays during an installation in case Windows Updates are not completely updated and installed. For more detailed information see the Hardware and software requirements.

What is the difference between the Report Generator and the Excel Exporter?
Where can I read the latest developments in RadiMation?
The report generator and the Excel exporter are using two different ways to export the information from RadiMation.
The latest improvements to RadiMation are reported on the 'RadiMation' Twitter account. The current development status page is then automatically updated with the latest improvements to RadiMation.
* The report generator is fully configurable by the report generator template which specifies the information that should be exported, and how it should be represented in the final report. The formatting, generated information and amount of information is completely configurable.
* The Excel exporter can not be configured, it just dumps all the raw data into a Microsoft Excel worksheet. By design, all the data is exported without any correction factors applied to the values. The order and the location on which the information is exported cannot be modified, and is always the same.

The report generator is also capable of generating customizable reports in Microsoft Excel. The most common usage of the Excel exporter is to have all the information available in Microsoft Excel to perform further calculations.
When is the next release scheduled for RadiMation?
The schedule of releases can be found here

Why are the TXT and the HTML formats not supported anymore by the report generator?
How can I see which pages have been changed recently?
The report generator is being using more than in the past, for the inclusion of tables and pictures in the final report.
This RadiWiki site is using the MediaWiki software that is also used by Wikipedia. Most of the features that are present on Wikipedia, are thus also present on this RadiWiki site. Some possibilities to monitor recent changes are:
The support in the report generator for the TXT and HTML files has been removed in 5.3 and higher because those file types do not support embedded tables and pictures within the file. For the same reason the file types XML and RTF are not supported anymore.
* Use the Recent changes link on the 'tools' section on the top-left, to see all the recent changes.
* Use the New pages page, to see all recently added new pages

The decision to stop the support of these file types in the report generator will not have a large impact, because to our knowledge, these file types are not use by any customer.
How can I determine the attenuation of a cable with RadiMation
How can I overlap two graphs in multi band?
RadiMation has attenuation measurement build in. It consist of 2 phases, the system calibration and the eut calibration. The system the measurements are part of a calibration so the EUT window must be closed before you can access the feature.
You can reach the system calibration by:
Calibration

Then create a new EUT for the cable(s) you want to measure.

Calibration

Select the create system calibration and run the test. More information can be found here

How can I add drivers of uncontrolled hardware like LISN's?
RadiMation uses drivers for all devices used during an EMC measurement, even passive components. With passive components this may seem an overkill, as nothing is being changed/controlled with the device. Frequency limitation is the main reason, if RadiMation does not know the frequency range, it can not warn you that you are making possible mistake. To add a passive component yourself, you go to the device group in the configuration window.

For example, a LISN.
# Select "Configurable LISN" and press the New button.
# Name device correctly, and press Ok.
# Select the device in the configuration window, and press Edit.
# In the device configuration window press the Advanced button.
# Change the frequency settings to match the specification of the device, and press Ok.

For all other passive devices there are configurable devices available. For more information on this topic: Manual Chapter 2 and Manual Chapter 15.

How can I capture RS-232 communication?
Capturing RS-232 communication is very complicated on a 64-bit Windows operating system. That is one of the reasons that we integrated the RadiLog tool in RadiMation. We strongly suggest to use RadiLog to capture any communication between RadiMation and measurement devices.

RadiMation is slow when I turn on an amplifier
When RadiMation is slow when a certain amplifier is turned check the follow thing(s).

* Is the amplifier in remote mode?

Some amplifiers, in local mode, have the unwanted behaviour of being detectable on the GPIB bus, but not responding to any commands send to the device.
This can cause a delay because the first part of the GPIB protocol, in other words the detection or low level handshaking, is working correctly. The second part of the communication is not working because the machine is not responding causing time out delays. These delays can introduce slow behaviour of RadiMation. The easiest solution is to put the amplifier in remote mode. Another solution is to not include the amplifier in the amplifier control window.

RadiMation is slow when starting, the PC is not connected to the internet
In the 'Control Panel', there is an item to configure the 'Internet Options'. On the 'Advanced' tab, there is an option under 'Security', 'Check for publisher's certificate revocation'. Uncheck this option and RadiMation will start faster again.

RSIB.dll could not be loaded
See here for the solution.

RadiMation Windows is crashing when I un-dock my laptop from my docking station
This problem has been reported by one of our customers, Windows was generating blue screens when he un-docked the laptop.
It turned out to be the parallel port(lpt), after disabling it on the device configuration the problem was solved.

Where can I find the release planning?
The release planning can be found here

Which files do I need to copy to transfer RadiMation from one pc to the other?
The following folders need to be copied to transfer RadiMation from one pc to the other.
*CAL_file
*Confdvdr
*Cor_File
*EUT_File
*LLF_File
*RGO_File
*RGT_File
*SEQ_File
*TSF_File

Do not copy the RadiMation version folder because this needs to be installed with the installer. Then there is no doubt that all the correct files have been copied, and the files are registered correctly.

Which mil std tests does RadiMation support?
Information on the MIL-STD tests, and which tests are supported, and how they can be performed is available on our MIL-STD-461 page.

Where can I find more information regarding standards?
You can find more information regarding standards here.

Does the excel exporter work for the multiband tests?
The excel exportor does not work for the multiband test because it is impossible to produce a correct table for the information from all the information that is available in a multiband test.
A simple dump of data will too complex to extract the information from, we suggest that you use the report generator in combination with the excel report generator editor, to retrieve the specific information that is required.

What is the password for the advanced options menu?
To overlap two graphs, open both the test results. In one of the two test results press the graphs button. you will see that the other test is available for selection. You can add any line from the other test result into the current graph.
The password of the advanced options menu is not publicly distributed. The advanced options can have a very strong influence on the behavior of the software. Changing these settings should only be applied to less then 1% of the total RadiMation users.

Signal generator is going to -100 and RadiMation is reporting that is can not go any lower
Why is the menu added when I can not access it?

If the signal generator is going to -100 during a test then there are is something wrong in the configuration depending on the situation either hardware or software.
The advanced options menu is added to created the posibility to change the behavior of RadiMation without having to make an special version of RadiMation. This ensures that quality of RadiMation can be maintained in the best way possible.

Possible solutions:
What is the policy of Raditeq when it comes to 3rd party EMC related software?
# Verify that the hardware configuration is the same as the software configuration. Possibly you have forgotten to remote an attenuation in the software configuration.
The policy of Raditeq regarding 3rd party (EMC related) software (for example CANoe and CANalyser software or firmware versions of EMC measurement equipment) is the same as for hardware support.
# Check the noise level of the power meter, so you know what the minimum value is you can measure. Possible the combination of noise level of you power meter and the attenuation in front of the power meter in total is higher then the power you want to measure.

We support the software that is still actively supported by the 3rd party. Software or firmware that is not supported anymore by the 3rd party, will also not be supported by us, as part of the RadiMation service contract. Already existing functionality regarding unsupported software will still be provided 'as is', and probably will be working, but no additional fixes or improvements will be implemented for unsupported systems. In specific cases we are able to still provide support, but the costs for that support will be charged in addition to the support contract.

Auto attenuator is going to 10 dB even with low emission
For example the Microsoft Windows XP operating system, is not supported by Microsoft anymore and therefore will also not be supported by RadiMation either.
When selecting auto attenuation radimation send the command auto attenuation to the receiver or analyser. After this it is the discussion of the machine which attenuation it is using. When using an analyser, try decreasing the reference level to for example 50 dbuV. Verify is the attenuator has decreased. A lot of analysers can only measure up to -20 dbm (87 dBuV) without attenuators.

Why is there a big drop between the value during and after a G-tem measurement?
Another example is the Hewlett Packard 8566B analyser. The HP 8566 is not supported anymore by HP. The RadiMation device driver to control the HP 8566B is still provided 'as is' in the DRIVERS.EXE page, and we know that it is working correctly. However any problems that are found in this device driver will not be fixed anymore under the standard RadiMation support contract.

For a G-tem measurement you need to change the EUT to all three axis (X,Y and Z). During the measurement of one side you will see the emission coming out of that side. After measuring all three side the G-tem correction to the OATS can be applied, including  the normalised site attenuation. For frequencies smaller then 1 Ghz this can mean that the total value is lower then the measured on one side. For example the attenuation for a horizontal 3 meter site at 30 is 15.8. For the horizontal 10 meter site at 30 this is 29.8. See the standard for the rest of the values.
How do I perform a cable calibration?
More information can be found here.

How can I see which pages have been changed recently?
Why is the graph in a printout during the test different from pressing print on the eut window?
This RadiWiki site is using the MediaWiki software that is also used by Wikipedia. Most of the features that are present on Wikipedia, are thus also present on this RadiWiki site. Some possibilities to monitor recent changes are:
Press the print button during the test, will result in a printout with the graphs displayed at that time.
* Use the Recent changes link on the 'tools' section on the top-left, to see all the recent changes.
* Use the New pages page, to see all recently added new pages

I have found a problem. What should I do?
When printing on the EUT window the printout will process the printout template. Default this template will show the lines that are displayed when opening the test result file as well as the complete frequency range.
If you have found a problem in the RadiMation software, it is best to report it to us. We will categorize the reported issue, register it in our defect database, and investigate the problem. When a workaround or solution is available, we will report this back to you.

I have another question, that is not answered yet
I want to report a problem but the problem is gone after I start the NI spy program for creating a log file
Just send your question by e-mail to the RadiMation support team (MailSupport), and we will give you an answer.
NI Spy introduces a small delay in the communication that can some times be enough for the controlled device to behave normally. This delay can be introduced in the RadiMation driver. In the GPIB configuration window there is a option to include a GPIB delay. Set this delay to 7000uS (7 mS). This is the amount of delay caused by the NI-Spy.

What are the minimum PC requirements?[edit]

The minimum PC requirements are described in Chapter 2 of the manual

Is Microsoft Windows XP supported?[edit]

Nowadays, Microsoft Windows 7 is the minimum requirement for RadiMation®. Due to the fact that Microsoft Windows XP is not supported anymore by Microsoft, we also cannot provide any support for Microsoft windows XP anymore. We have not verified/tested the RadiMation 2013.x versions and higher on Microsoft Windows XP, and we will not support this. RadiMation® is working correctly and supported on Windows 7 (32-bits and 64-bits) and Windows 8.1 (32-bits and 64-bits).

Is Microsoft Windows 7 (64 bit) supported?[edit]

RadiMation® is supported on Windows 7. RadiMation® is working correctly on the 32-bit and on 64-bit version of Windows 7. Also on Windows 8.1 (32-bits and 64-bits) RadiMation® is fully working and supported. In order to run RadiMation it is absolutely required that the used operating system is up to date. It can cost severe delays during an installation in case Windows Updates are not completely updated and installed. For more detailed information see the Hardware and software requirements.

Is Microsoft Windows 10 supported?[edit]

RadiMation® is tested and supported on Windows 10. In order to run RadiMation it is absolutely required that the used operating system is up to date. It can cost severe delays during an installation in case Windows Updates are not completely updated and installed. For more detailed information see the Hardware and software requirements.

Where can I read the latest developments in RadiMation®?[edit]

The latest improvements to RadiMation® are reported on the 'RadiMation' Twitter account. The current development status page is then automatically updated with the latest improvements to RadiMation®.

When is the next release scheduled for RadiMation®?[edit]

The schedule of releases can be found here

How can I see which pages have been changed recently?[edit]

This RadiWiki site is using the MediaWiki software that is also used by Wikipedia. Most of the features that are present on Wikipedia, are thus also present on this RadiWiki site. Some possibilities to monitor recent changes are:

 • Use the Recent changes link on the 'tools' section on the top-left, to see all the recent changes.
 • Use the New pages page, to see all recently added new pages

How can I determine the attenuation of a cable with RadiMation®[edit]

RadiMation® has attenuation measurement build in. It consist of 2 phases, the system calibration and the eut calibration. The system the measurements are part of a calibration so the EUT window must be closed before you can access the feature. You can reach the system calibration by:

   Menu.svg Calibration
      Menu.svg System Calibration
         Menu.svg Attenuation / Gain

Then create a new EUT for the cable(s) you want to measure.

   Menu.svg Calibration
      Menu.svg EUT Calibration
         Menu.svg Attenuation / Gain

Select the create system calibration and run the test. More information can be found here

How can I add drivers of uncontrolled hardware like LISN's?[edit]

RadiMation® uses drivers for all devices used during an EMC measurement, even passive components. With passive components this may seem an overkill, as nothing is being changed/controlled with the device. Frequency limitation is the main reason, if RadiMation® does not know the frequency range, it can not warn you that you are making possible mistake. To add a passive component yourself, you go to the device group in the configuration window.

For example, a LISN.

 1. Select "Configurable LISN" and press the New button.
 2. Name device correctly, and press Ok.
 3. Select the device in the configuration window, and press Edit.
 4. In the device configuration window press the Advanced button.
 5. Change the frequency settings to match the specification of the device, and press Ok.

For all other passive devices there are configurable devices available. For more information on this topic: Manual Chapter 2 and Manual Chapter 15.

How can I capture RS-232 communication?[edit]

Capturing RS-232 communication is very complicated on a 64-bit Windows operating system. That is one of the reasons that we integrated the RadiLog tool in RadiMation. We strongly suggest to use RadiLog to capture any communication between RadiMation and measurement devices.

RadiMation® is slow when I turn on an amplifier[edit]

When RadiMation is slow when a certain amplifier is turned check the follow thing(s).

 • Is the amplifier in remote mode?

Some amplifiers, in local mode, have the unwanted behaviour of being detectable on the GPIB bus, but not responding to any commands send to the device. This can cause a delay because the first part of the GPIB protocol, in other words the detection or low level handshaking, is working correctly. The second part of the communication is not working because the machine is not responding causing time out delays. These delays can introduce slow behaviour of RadiMation®. The easiest solution is to put the amplifier in remote mode. Another solution is to not include the amplifier in the amplifier control window.

RadiMation® is slow when starting, the PC is not connected to the internet[edit]

In the 'Control Panel', there is an item to configure the 'Internet Options'. On the 'Advanced' tab, there is an option under 'Security', 'Check for publisher's certificate revocation'. Uncheck this option and RadiMation® will start faster again.

RSIB.dll could not be loaded[edit]

See here for the solution.

RadiMation® Windows is crashing when I un-dock my laptop from my docking station[edit]

This problem has been reported by one of our customers, Windows was generating blue screens when he un-docked the laptop. It turned out to be the parallel port(lpt), after disabling it on the device configuration the problem was solved.

Where can I find the release planning?[edit]

Which files do I need to copy to transfer RadiMation® from one pc to the other?[edit]

The following folders need to be copied to transfer RadiMation® from one pc to the other.

 • CAL_file
 • Confdvdr
 • Cor_File
 • EUT_File
 • LLF_File
 • RGO_File
 • RGT_File
 • SEQ_File
 • TSF_File

Do not copy the RadiMation® version folder because this needs to be installed with the installer. Then there is no doubt that all the correct files have been copied, and the files are registered correctly.

Which mil std tests does RadiMation® support?[edit]

Information on the MIL-STD tests, and which tests are supported, and how they can be performed is available on our MIL-STD-461 page.

Where can I find more information regarding standards?[edit]

You can find more information regarding standards here.

Does the excel exporter work for the multiband tests?[edit]

The excel exportor does not work for the multiband test because it is impossible to produce a correct table for the information from all the information that is available in a multiband test. A simple dump of data will too complex to extract the information from, we suggest that you use the report generator in combination with the excel report generator editor, to retrieve the specific information that is required.

What is the password for the advanced options menu?[edit]

The password of the advanced options menu is not publicly distributed. The advanced options can have a very strong influence on the behavior of the software. Changing these settings should only be applied to less then 1% of the total RadiMation® users.

Why is the menu added when I can not access it?

The advanced options menu is added to created the posibility to change the behavior of RadiMation® without having to make an special version of RadiMation®. This ensures that quality of RadiMation® can be maintained in the best way possible.

What is the policy of Raditeq when it comes to 3rd party EMC related software?[edit]

The policy of Raditeq regarding 3rd party (EMC related) software (for example CANoe and CANalyser software or firmware versions of EMC measurement equipment) is the same as for hardware support.

We support the software that is still actively supported by the 3rd party. Software or firmware that is not supported anymore by the 3rd party, will also not be supported by us, as part of the RadiMation® service contract. Already existing functionality regarding unsupported software will still be provided 'as is', and probably will be working, but no additional fixes or improvements will be implemented for unsupported systems. In specific cases we are able to still provide support, but the costs for that support will be charged in addition to the support contract.

For example the Microsoft Windows XP operating system, is not supported by Microsoft anymore and therefore will also not be supported by RadiMation either.

How do I perform a cable calibration?[edit]

More information can be found here.

Why is the graph in a printout during the test different from pressing print on the eut window?[edit]

Press the print button during the test, will result in a printout with the graphs displayed at that time.

When printing on the EUT window the printout will process the printout template. Default this template will show the lines that are displayed when opening the test result file as well as the complete frequency range.

I want to report a problem but the problem is gone after I start the NI spy program for creating a log file[edit]

I have found a problem. What should I do?[edit]

If you have found a problem in the RadiMation® software, it is best to report it to us, using the Error Report tool in RadiMation®. We will categorize the reported issue, register it in our ticket database, and investigate the problem. When a workaround or solution is available, we will report this back to you.

I have another question, that is not answered yet[edit]

Just submit your question on the RadiMation® forum or use the Error Reporting tool that is integrated in RadiMation®. And we will give you an answer.
